During one summer I worked at mcdonalds I was a crew member helping the customers and getting their orders ready. During that time I was able to learn a lot and how to communicate and not be socially awkward. The first few weeks it was hard I was moving slow just trying to figure stuff out. Once I got used to it I would start working faster the job was becoming very easy. Once my manager started to see that I got comfortable he made me do new things in the back. I was okay with that because in the long run it was going to be beneficial for me to know different things. I would learn everything faster but cashiering was not easy it took time to get fast at first I was scared. The day I was most scared was when there was money missing from the cash register and the managers went around asking people about the missing money and “nobody new a thing”. They said that they were going to have to look at the cameras to determine who took the money. They warned us that we would have to pay the money out of our own checks if it wasn’t found. This made me nervous every time I was cashier. Besides that, it was confusing to understand what each thing was but people would help and it got a little easy but the money part was still in my head I would be nervous to give the customers the money since I was not sure if it was right or wrong but after a little bit I got use to it and became easy. Working in this position made me gain a lot of knowledge about
